Kristen McBride directs the firm’s estate planning, trust administration, and probate matters.
Prior to her employment with Worden Williams, APC, Ms. McBride developed and managed a thriving elder-law practice at Hobbs & Olson, L.C. in Salt Lake City, Utah. Ms. McBride was an active member of the Needs of Elderly Committee of the Utah State Bar. In January 2004, Ms. McBride was named by Utah Business as one of "Utah’s Elite Attorneys" in Tax, Trust and Estate Planning. Ms. McBride also lectured on estate planning subjects to student groups, professional associations, employees, and to the public.
From 2001-2003, Ms. McBride was a Clinical Associate Professor of Law at the S.J. Quinney College of Law at the University of Utah. During 1998, she was an advocate and law clerk at the Disability Law Center and received the Steven Magelby Award for excellence in service for individuals with disabilities.
Ms. McBride was admitted to the Utah State Bar Association in 2000 and to the California State Bar Association in 2005. Ms. McBride’s additional professional affiliations include: North Coastal Estate Planning Council, the Lawyer's Club, the Bar Association of North County (Probate/Estate Planning and Elder Law Sections), and the San Diego County Bar Association (Trust & Probate Section).
