Tomer T. Gutman focuses his practice on trust and estate administration, probate, litigation, and business and property matters. Mr. Gutman has litigated hundreds of trust and estate cases, and continues to bring that perspective to his estate planning matters.

In addition to his legal skills, Mr. Gutman brings a strong financial and academic background to the firm. Mr. Gutman is licensed to practice law in four states: California, Washington, Nevada, and Florida.

Prior to joining Worden Williams, Mr. Gutman clerked in Federal Court in the Southern District of California for the Honorable Cathy Ann Bencivengo.

Mr. Gutman completed his undergraduate work with a B.S. in International Finance from the University of Tampa. Mr. Gutman then received his M.B.A. in International Management from the Monterey Institute of International Studies. Mr. Gutman received his Juris Doctor degree, Magna Cum Laude, from California Western School of Law, and was a Staff Editor of the Law Review.  

While in law school, Mr. Gutman received the American Jurisprudence Award for achieving the highest marks in Criminal Law, Evidence, Professional Responsibility, and Legal Skills.

Prior to Mr. Gutman’s legal career, he was engaged in providing business management consulting services to various entities, including large multinational corporations. Mr. Gutman’s consulting services focused on international expansion in the retail sector, vertical integration, and ISO Quality Management planning, implementation, and maintenance. Mr. Gutman also has experience in the financial industry where he worked for a wealth management firm and was engaged in financial advisement, analysis, and planning for high net-worth individuals in private equity funds.

Mr. Gutman is a member of the American Bar Association, North County Bar Association, and is a member of multiple sections of the State Bar of California.

Mr. Gutman served in the Israeli Defense Forces and also founded, and is the current Co-Director of the San Diego branch of the youth service organization Friends of Israel Scouts - Tzofim (Shevet Galim).
